As she and Joshua grow closer, she convinces him to leave New State for her underground cause. But as the unrest between New State and the underground escalates, and the drones move in to destroy her world, nothing goes as planned. Families are arrested, loyalties are strained, and Yara’s forced to choose between her people and her feelings. The wrong choice could mean the end of her people, and reality could slip away—forever…

If
you enjoy a bit of a romantic story and a fast paced plot you will
probably love Remote. The author Lisa Acerbo has no problem bringing
the future to the eyes of her readers. But this new future is not the
happy go lucky future that many envision.
A futuristic world that uses technological advances in order to have
super realistic fantasies come true.
Acerbo creates a masterpiece filled with in depth characters, and a
bit of a romantic, yet extremely entertaining YA sci fi novel.
I
recommend for all you sci fi lovers that enjoy a good little romance
too! I rate this book 4 stars!

ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed this book, it reminds me of some of the prophecies that we hear about materialism. Technology goes hand in hand with materialism. Excellent book!
