Penny had never expected Z to walk through the gates of her sprawling Scottish estate and unlock her heart, but that is exactly what he did. Living the dream, they are blissfully happy in their little slice of paradise. Until the dream is shattered when the nightmare that was her past finds them. Now, the race is on to protect all that they hold dear…each other.

As with the previous title that I read from this author earlier this year, I must say that I am absolutely impressed. To me reading should be more than just a judge of a few characters and a plot, it should be something that takes you on a journey in life, where you are feeling the characters and the emotions are present. That to me is where I look at the work of an author. I take the book apart and look out for my emotions running high, since I love it, I always try to feel my stories that I read. That is where I will take the journey and try and figure out if satisfaction will arrive. Yes, this author Alexander McCabe truly knows how to make the reader feel his stories! I can't say enough about his style in writing that gives the reader more than they bargain for! I am thankful that I got a chance to read this book and look forward to reading more from McCabe in the near future!

McCabe writes very well in this book as he did in the previous title that I read from him. I must say I rate this book a FULL FIVE Stars and recommend to all those that are looking to feel accomplished and satisfied after their read!

After graduating with a couple of useless degrees in law, I left my Scottish homeland and wandered nomadically around the globe to experience the rich diversity of culture that the world has to offer. For the moment, my wife and I are happy to call Toronto home but neither of us is entirely sure for how long and, somewhat irrationally, this more excites than scares us!
