Ogitchida Kwe's Children's Book Review Isabella Babysits Baxter By Melissa Perry Moraja

In the book Isabella Babysits Baxter, written by Melissa Perry Moraja, Isabella the main character learns that she has a responsibility in babysitting, even though she is usually the person needing a sitter. This was a cute story written with a lot of humor at heart, the kind that the little guys go for. The young reader can easily grasp the meanings in this book due to the witty humor and bright ways the author uses to bring her characters to life. Emergent readers will also have no problems reading this short story with precision and accuracy. I read this story in my homeschool and I very well could have let my youngest son read it on his own. He enjoyed it just as much as I did. Moraja knows just how to win over the hearts of children and also downplay any misbehavior that characters took part in. What more could a kid ask for? We recommend this excellent book to all of our homeschooling families and others!
