Being the best comes with consequences.

She was the best thief Interpol ever tracked. When a job went wrong she had to make a deal with them to retain her freedom. Given the choice  between being locked in a cell, or complete a simple favor the answer should be obvious. But will that favor prove to be too big, even for the best?

He had been the best once. The right hand man of one of the most powerful women in the city, everyone respected and feared him. Then after a costly mistake he was left with an unpayable debt. He went from being the right hand to the collared dog. When he was tasked with creating ties that could subsequently wipe his debt, will he get out of the frying pan and into the fire? Or will freedom remain unattainable?

Please tell us about yourself using 3 verbs, 1 quirk and a pop culture addiction

Verbs: Create, Read, Design
Quirk: Disney Music while writing
Pop Culture Addiction: BSB

Who do you consider the most swoon-worthy man in the literary world? How about on tv/in the movies?

Man? Ouch… Um… Probably Kylie Scott’s Malcolm from Play. On TV? Chris Evans hands down.

How do you come up with character names?  How do you come up with novel titles?

Characters name themselves. I don’t do it. They tell me. (I’m not joking.)

Titles are a bit more complex. My Sprint or Die Ladies can attest to that fact. For my last release I changed the title seven or eight times before settling on one. The most recent book in content edits only ever had one title and it’s from the book so there is no way that doesn’t fit. Titles are hit and miss for me.

Explain your writing process to us.

Open Word. Write. That pretty much sums it up right now. Or Open Google Docs. Write. I’ve done a little bit of note taking for my High Fantasy - for kingdom names, species and such, but it’s more a reminder to self than any plotting. I’ve simplified the process for the time being.

This or That-

*Paranormal or Dystopian? Paranormal.

*Shadowhunters or Vampires? Shadowhunters.

*Morning or Night? Night.

*Vanilla or Chocolate? Chocolate.

*Summer or Winter? Summer.

  1. Prison, hopefully for a short time. I wouldn't want to owe a suspicious favor.
