Title: Look How You Turned Out
Author: Diane Munier
Release Date: April 21, 2016
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Synopsis
This is the story about a woman who grew up a shining star, at least in the eyes of her father, the sheriff, and maybe in terms of her GPA. But one thing she can't excel at is grabbing the attention of her father's deputy, Marcus. Sure he watched her breeze through high school, and yes, when his marriage fell apart, she babysat his little boy Juney, but hello! She's a woman now, sort of, so let's transition! The problem is, Marcus will never disappoint his hero and mentor, her dear old dad. He's been listening to her dad's daughter-worship diatribe for so long he treats her like she's thee Madonna and not the one who sings. Marcus is blind toward her development! So off she goes to Chicago, angry and defeated. She does what everyone expects and lands a kick-butt job at a big firm. Then she makes a big mistake and dates the boss. And that leads to an attempt to be bedded by the boss. But even he can see she's not into it. So he fires her in an attempt to send her home to sort things out. And guess who's at her father's house the minute she enters the door? Marcus. And it's all right there. The attraction. Only this time, maybe...just maybe, he's looking. And that is where our story begins.

About The Author
Living comfortably in the heart of America with the people I love. I live an extroverted life, but I'm a genuine introvert. An urban kid, I spent much of my youth running in various neighborhood establishments. There I met many colorful characters and I learned to love them and be fascinated by them. My love of story comes from them. I learned to sit on a bar stool or a kitchen chair or in a pew and hear story. Hear the voices telling story. See the mouths move and the hands clutching glasses or cigarettes. See and hear the laughter. There is no greater honor than to hear someone's story. If you feel that way about the tales I tell...what more could I ask.
