Sleeping Tom Reviews ONLY Blog TOUR & GIVEAWAY!

Sleeping Tom by E.V. Fairfall
Publication date: February 15th 2015
Genres: Contemporary, Romance,
 Young Adult

Hitchhiking is a bad idea but Caden is desperate.
When she accepts a ride from the first car to come by she meets Gabriel. He’s her age, hot, and the closest thing she has to a savior. Problem is, he is a total jerk. With nowhere to go, Caden convinces Gabriel to let her stay with him for one night. He reluctantly lends a couch.
That night Caden wakes up to strange noises. Concerned, she rushes into Gabriel’s room, already anticipating his bad temper. Instead, he’s kind, sweet, and suspiciously harmless—nothing like the man who gave her a ride. He seems like a different person altogether, and claims he is. By night he is Tom, and by day he is Gabriel. Caden finds herself drawn to the mysteries hidden in his eyes.
For Gabriel, Caden is an annoying mistake. One night turns into many, and despite all his anger towards her, she stays. She even seems to accept him and his flaws, but he still doesn’t trust her—is she staying for him, or has she already discovered more than he’s willing to share?

Many people do not realize just how mental illness can affect the youth of today. E.V. Fairfall brings the aspects of the multiple personality disorder to the forefront. The reader is not only confronted with this disorder but also other emotional elements as well. This book moves along very well and keeps the reader intrigued with what will happen next.

Fairfall gives her readers a real true lesson in the mental health field. Not only do you feel as if you have gained a true understanding but you also want to continue on with the two main characters. Fairfall heightens the curiosity of the reader in this novel due to the elements of youth plagued with mental and emotional problems. I am always happy to see books like this that help others to understand that mental illness is real1

I rate this book 5 stars and commend the author for tackling this often swept under the rug subject!

I love to write just as much as I love to read. I try to read a book per week, which doesn’t always work out, but it’s the thought that counts. Aside from all that I am a huge animal person.

Transformed is my first novel, but it isn’t my first publication; I’ve had several short stories published over the last two years. My main goal as a writer is to explore humanity and to give people something fun to read.

Justice Mine Reviews Only BLOG TOUR PLUS GIVEAWAY!

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/23002944-justice-mine?ac=1

For justice. For country. For love.
After witnessing her friend’s sexual assault, seven year senior, Magdalena Wells escapes an attack with a few bruises and a thousand questions. As a journalist in practice, if not in pay, Mags vows to utilize the skills she mastered in the Democratic Republic of Congo and answer every single one, just as soon as she gets the hell out of town.
Law Pierce’s aim is rest and relaxation after two years undercover in South Africa on an extended Base Branch mission, but restlessness puts him in trouble’s path. As a servant of justice, Law will do everything in his power to keep trouble safe. The fact that trouble’s petite stature and luscious curves stir his every primal instinct is a massive inconvenience he struggles to ignore.
Together Magdalena and Law uncover a web of corruption and dirty lies that could set their country’s top official ablaze, if the inferno doesn’t consume them first.

In the fictional book Justice Mine by Megan Mitcham the reader gets entangled in a web of quick moves and safety precautions. Yet truth be told, I usually never read books in the suspense genre because they have never really appealed to me in the past. But this time,  I was determined and ready to give this book by Mitcham an honest review on something totally different for me.

I must say that I grew attached to  the protagonist, good old Law. The old fashioned Cat and Mouse chase between him and Magdalena at times was really well, funny to me! For lack of better words, I have to say that I giggled when Magdalena did not get her way. Mitcham draws the reader in, in a delectable way then  smacks right back down, without a bit of pleasure for the reader. Superb writing, keeps the reader in tune, which I must admit was good.  This way of writing also in turn keeps the reader wanting more down the line. An excellent way to keep one flicking on to the next page too. I did!

I also enjoyed the frisky attitude of Magdalena. She is sure to catch the hearts of the readers! She caught mine and I was always feeling sorry or aggravated for her as well. Mitcham did an excellent job of keeping her a real part of the story. This focus was never lost. This also truly makes a difference when you have men and women reading a story and the guys want to feel a little something too.

Overall, Mitcham told a wonderful story and that cat and mouse chase was really a good bait, especially for me! I rate this awesome book 4 stars and look forward to reading more down the line from Mitcham.
